You know what my response is to people who say “Who cares if she’s conforming to the patriarchal expectations of society? She’s rich so she must be doing something right/You’re just jealous/Why are you picking on a celebrity you don’t even know?”
I voice my opinion because the sexualization of celebrities is revolting, and the patriarchal system of which it stems from disgusts me. 
When a celebrity becomes so imbued with extravagance, showcasing a particular image, you’re no longer insulting them as a person but as a commodity. I don’t need to know them personally to express my opinion of how they advertise themselves to the public for consumption.
